NHAZCA and AIPO – Training on Remote Sensing and IRIS software to a public body

NHAZCA’s professional training activities recently included an important collaboration with the Agenzia Interregionale per il fiume Po (AIPO) to train its technicians in the most advanced techniques based on Earth Observation data.

The aim of the collaboration with this Public body is mainly to carry out a monitoring activity of the territory crossed by the longest river of the Italian territory. AIPo’s mission is to manage the main hydrographic network of the Po River, dealing with hydraulic safety, water management and river navigation.

In the light of this, the NHAZCA team has recently started a training course about Remote Sensing that will see the activation of a second training activity focused on IRIS software, developed by NHAZCA for Photomonitoring, given the acquisition of 6 software licenses by the Agency.
