Successful 10th Edition of the International Course on Geotechnical and Structural Monitoring

The 10th edition of the International Course on Geotechnical and Structural Monitoring (ICGSM) took place from June 11-14, 2024, at the Green Center of the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, USA.
This special anniversary edition marked a significant milestone as it was held in America for the first time, the country where the idea of ICGSM was first discussed by John Dunnicliff and Paolo Mazzanti.
After nine successful editions in Italy since 2014, which saw around 900 participants and 70 sponsors from 60 countries, this extraordinary event brought together over 144 participants from 18 countries, 16 expert speakers, and 25 leading companies in the geotechnical and structural monitoring sector.
Since its inception, ICGSM has been recognized as a unique event in the field of Geotechnical and Structural Monitoring, providing unparalleled networking and educational opportunities for both industry professionals and academia. Over the years, the International Course has attracted the participation of top experts and significant international exhibitors.
Co-organized with the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) and the Colorado Geological Survey, the 2024 edition was structured over three days of classroom sessions, featuring various Master Classes, live demonstrations, and brief presentations by our sponsors. The final day included an exciting field trip to the Pueblo Dam, organized in collaboration with the Bureau of Reclamation.
